aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaSuzi Lindstrom, Trustee

Suzi is a retired secondary English teacher who enjoys calling Silver Lake ‘home’ again! She has 4 adult children, all SLHS graduates, and 7 grandkids!  Five of those seven live in Silver Lake and attend Silver Lake Elementary.  Her other two live in San Antonio, Texas, which, she says, is just too far away! Suzi feels very lucky to have her dad, who turns 99 in March, still in her life. Her days are spent enjoying his company, the company of her granddaughter, who is at Suzi’s each morning before boarding the bus for afternoon preschool, and watching her grandkids participate in soccer, volleyball, football, basketball, softball and baseball! She still enjoys watching her adult daughters on the volleyball courts, but now as they coach their school teams!  Suzi has a faithful fur baby companion (and guard dog) named Blue that has probably barked at you if you have walked past her house! Suzi is happy to be a member of the library board because she feels it is a service to the great community that helped her own children develop into such wonderful adults!
