Celebrate 25 years of volunteer time & talent—supporting Library programs & projects.

The Friends are currently gearing up for their annual Book Sale September 5 & 6 and also a fall soup supper.
The Friends of the Silver Lake Library is an organization founded in 1989 to help enhance the services of the Library.

FoSLL helps with various Library activities and programs throughout the year.

Funds raised are used to supplement the Library budget and help provide library programs and services to the Silver Lake Community.  They are a major sponsor of the Summer Reading Program and the William Allen White Book Club.

The Annual Book Sale is  a major fund raiser, with proceeds going toward the Summer Reading Program.  The book sale is traditionally held the Friday and Saturday after Labor Day during the city wide garage sale.  The sale will be September 5 & 6, 2014.

Meetings are held twice a year – March and August.   The next meeting is August 11,  2014, 7 pm.   As a member you will receive half price copies, computer print-outs & fax fees.  Memberships are $10 for family and $15 or more for Sustaining Membership annually.
