FoSLL

At the August 7, 2017 Friends of the Silver Lake Library meeting, since no one came forward to fill the offices of President and Secretary, after much discussion members voted to disband the Friends group as of December 31, 2017.   The vote was unanimous.    All money left in the treasury on December 31, 2017 will be donated to the Library Gift Fund to be used for future Summer Reading Programs and/or William Allen White programs.  Memberships will expire as of March 1, 2018.  Memberships due in August 2017 will be extended until March 1, 2018.

FoSLL’s last book sale was held September 8 & 9.  The sale netted $685.45.  The Library appreciates FoSLL’s support with funds and volunteer services for programs throughout the years FoSLL has been in operation.
