Summer Reading


2014 Teen Summer Reading Program

The Teen Summer Reading Program is for

grades 7th – 12th.

The teens win prizes by reading. After each book come into the Library and write your name, the title of the book and the date on a slip that will be placed in a drawing. At the end of each month we will draw three names for prizes.

The Teen summer programs are as follows;


June 10th, from 5:00-6:00pm. – Stitch-a-blanket - Everyone will bring blanket fabric to make dog blankets for our local Humane Society.

June 26th, from 6:00-7:00pm. – Cupcake wars - Everyone will be split into teams and compete for the title of the most fabulously decorated cupcake duet!

July -

July 21st, from 2:00-3:00 – Pinterest Party - We will attempt to recreate a couple fun activities found on Pinterest.

Volunteer at the Library - This gives everyone a chance to build their volunteer resume and help the Library.

July 24th, from 2:00-3:00 – Magician Eric Vauhn
